Where will the reception take place?
The cocktail hour, reception, and party will take place at Villa Di Striano, located less than an hour away from Florence. Take the route going through Fiesole to get there, with breathtaking landscapes. Nearest villages are Borgo San Lorenzo, Scarperia, or Barberino di Mugello.
How do I get there and leave? Will there be parking?
The reception will take place in Villa di Striano, 20-25 minutes away from the village of Borgo San Lorenzo. Parking is available at the wedding venue, but please try to maximize the number of people per car not to overcrowd the parking area. To come back from the party, see the list of taxis in the Travel section. They are aware of our wedding and hence should be available: you can call and pre-book (party should last until 3am). You can also decide to take a taxi to go to the reception, to avoid leaving a car in a parking in the town after the party.
Will the reception be indoor or outdoor?
Hoping for good weather, the welcome dinner as well the reception will be outdoor, alternatively we will be able to move both indoor. The party will move indoor post midnight.

What should I wear?
We want our guests to look and more importantly feel their best! We are kindly requesting our guests to dress in cocktail and formal attire for the welcome dinner with a touch of a italian element and reception respectively, elegante attire. For women it's long gowns, dressy cocktail dresses, pantsuits or separates. For men, a nice suit (it's not black tie). Ladies, don't forget to bring flats for the party! For you to plan which heels to wear, please note that the outside areas of the villa for the reception are either grass or pebbles.
Can I bring a date?
If you received a plus one or your guest's name is listed on your invitation, then yes! Otherwise we would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close family and friends only.
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love all the little ones, we ask that this event be adults only.
